A record of previously cataloged BurlBlade timber specimens that are no longer available for purchase.
About the Sold Wood Specimens Archive
The Sold Wood Specimens Archive documents unique BurlBlade pieces that have already been acquired. Each specimen remains part of the archive as a recorded example of salvaged urban timber, preserving its provenance even after it has left the workshop.
Because every piece of wood documented by BurlBlade is one-of-a-kind, once a specimen is sold it cannot be replaced. These archived specimens remain traceable through the Specimen Registry, where each piece is linked to its harvest origin and species record.
Species characteristics and timber properties associated with these pieces can be further explored through reference resources such as The Wood Database.
Archived Specimens
Each specimen listed here has been permanently archived after purchase.
Because every piece of wood documented by BurlBlade is unique, once a specimen is acquired it can never be replaced. The archive preserves these pieces as part of the permanent record of salvaged urban timber.
Collectors and woodworkers may still view the photographs, specimen identification, and harvest documentation associated with each archived piece.
