Root Flare Hardwood Slab – Solid Resin Inlay Blank (GS2602002)
GS2602002 shows two fine longitudinal hairline cracks running along natural stress lines in the heartwood, forming what reads as a pair of subtle micro-canyon features rather than a structural flaw. The grain resolves to a radial focal point at centre, with smooth, even structure spreading out around it. Bark along the edge is firm and fully intact, standing in strong contrast against the sanded face. Recovered from Edenvale, Gauteng, 3 February 2026. Field seasoned, MC confirmed at 10–12% on a pin meter reading taken on a sanded surface, 1 March 2026. One piece. Exact item shown.
