Hollow Wood Cookie for Epoxy – Sculptural C Profile (GS2602010)
GS2602010 has a pronounced C-shaped profile built around a dominant internal void, with grain redirected around the cavity into genuine swirling patterns rather than a straight run. One terminal section carries noticeably more density than the rest of the slab, and a bark fissure inclusion is visible where bark has folded into the growth itself. There’s a faint run of hairline checking on this one too, and the outer bark has started to separate slightly in places, though it’s still on. Recovered from Edenvale, Gauteng, 3 February 2026. Field seasoned, MC confirmed at 10–12% on a pin meter reading taken on a sanded surface, 1 March 2026. One piece. Exact item shown.
