Cross Cut Wood Cookie – Hollow Arc Form (GS2602007)
GS2602007 is a transverse hollow-log cookie with a continuous internal void running through the centre where the pith is entirely absent, the grain sitting noticeably tighter right at that inner edge before relaxing out toward the bark. A slight hairline crack shows near the interior curve. Bark is attached and stable across the piece. Recovered from Edenvale, Gauteng, 3 February 2026. Field seasoned, MC confirmed at 10–12% on a pin meter reading taken on a sanded surface, 1 March 2026. One piece. Exact item shown.
